I love fall, for me it represents a reset for a whole new season of woodworking. I have had another greats summer break and time to get back into having more fun make more projects and sharing ideas and processes and because I have changed things in my shop and accumulated so many new subscribers, time to let everyone know what's new and what's changed.

Good quality tape measures and good quality woodworking squares are not options, they are required and both can be purchased quite inexpensively. The ones I use are from Lee Valley, but there are many others to choose from such as those from Amazon, below. If you are looking for LEFT hand tapes, make sure they are identified as such sometimes they use other wording.

Below is an Amazon picture and link to the magnetized dust collector connectors I use. There are other more manual ways of making the same connections, but if you are looking for quick, solid connections, I have been using these for 6 months and love them.

I will provide updates on the micro tip felt pen and the automatic pencil I am trying out in a future video, but they are both looking very good so far, and the automatic pencil even fits in my 4 in 1 Marking Gauge, that was a revelation that came to me during filming.
