Please would someone be so kind as to tell me the correct (or a correct) name used to the u-shaped, giant staple-like nail shown in the attached file.

I have seen it refered to as a \"dog nail\" but only on Chinese Internet sites.

In Japan it is called a \"Kasugai\" or even a \"UK Kasugai.\" (I.e. a British staple/u-shaped nail/dog nail). I am from britain but I did not come accross these in the UK.
